Bio: Howl's evolution occurs during something of a fiasco that may or may not have involved a certain Summer Daemon. His squad of friends are rather surprised to see he didn't become a Feliray, and at first aren't quite sure how to take his reasoning for pursuing the change. Or the fact that he isn't… totally 100% pleased with the results. But as it's irreversible, they eventually accept it with a grateful heart and do their best to help him adjust to the changes - none more so than Apollo, who still feels a bit bad that he tried to alienate the former Recalt out of a mix of suspicion and jealousy.

Howl spends most of his time volunteering for the night shift (as a pre-emptive measure so it doesn't look like he's just sadly stuck with it). Not many trolls are stupid enough to attack such a large group anymore, so he usually tinkers with his inventions in the large swath of mostly spare time, bringing them up to a more advanced level thanks to his now more intuitive connection with technology and its weaknesses.

Between adding a sun-sensitive companion to the mix, and finally making their way to the more pleasant climes of the Forest (at least, compared to the Desert and Swamp), Team Ken has slowed a bit in progress, and perhaps it is because of their loitering that they end up encountering a caravan - and the night sentry is the first to pick it up on his radar.

Howl is tinkering with an explosive (sorta reffed off a doomsday device from Futurama, because I wanted it to be wacky looking) in the pic, for anyone wondering. _{May or may not be relevant to stuff n things.} 

Was gonna add noise to make him look pixelated, but it also made him look lighter than he really is so I ax'd it. Will add it back in on in any actual illustrations I make of him though.
